Groundwork Wales

Brief
Groundwork Wales had a large exhibition space at the 2010 Skills Cymru Event in the Millenium Stadium. The exhibition area included space for 6 teams from schools and colleges around Wales to participate in a garden design & build competition.

To maximise impact at the event, Groundwork Wales wanted a form of sustainable branding for their exhibition space in line with their organisational values and which also complemented the event and exhibition theme. The branding needed to comprise the Groundwork logo and corporate text along with some inspirational text.

Proposal
About a thousand leaves were created for this 3D leaf effect and flower design installation made entirely from 100% recycled and recyclable card and paper. Leaf effect typeface represented the Groundwork Wales branding and inspirational text whilst being visually enhanced by the surrounding white flowers.
